Nipperbout was brought on board at short notice to provide a Lost Child Point for the Tottenham Hotspur Victory Parade in May 2025, a high-footfall, high-energy public event drawing large crowds across Tottenham.

With event conceived with only days to prepare, our team ensured a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment.

What we delivered

  • A fully operational Lost Child Point staffed by four experienced, trained and DBS-checked team members
  • One fixed Lost Child Point and roaming staff embedded in the crowd
  • Wristband distribution service offered to all parents with children in attendance
  • First aid-trained staff and safeguarding-trained manager onsite
  • Phone-charging access and public information services from the LCP
  • Clear communication with police, stewards and event control throughout

In action

We supported five found children including

  • A 10-year-old boy separated from his father, supported calmly until safe reunion
  • A vulnerable 17-year-old young adult and her 19-year-old cousin, both with additional needs supported until safely escorted home

As well as reuniting families, the LCP also became a centre point for:

  • Breastfeeding and nappy changes
  • Meeting point for families
  • Directions and event information
  • Phone charging and temporary shelter

Despite anticipated challenges of crowd congestion and the speed with which the event was turned around (due to it’s very nature) we operated smoothly and independently, adapting quickly to the live event environment and liaising confidently with key stakeholders.

No items found.

Impact

  • All five found children reunited safely
  • No accidents or safeguarding incidents
  • Praised wristband system by parents
  • Point of calm, safety and professionalism in a busy public setting

Even in the most dynamic, public-facing environments and at short notice Nipperbout’s Lost Child Points service offers more than safeguarding. It offers reassurance, logistical support and a presence that keeps both families and organisers feeling confident and protected.

Parent feedback

“Your team’s care played a vital role in our successful participation in the event and allowed us to fully engage.”

“I would be unable to attend without childcare I was confident in.”

Client feedback

“Nipperbout’s service is seamless. From safeguarding to catering, they handle everything independently. I never get surprise costs or extra demands. They’re indispensable.”
